As the music industry and Hollywood come together to celebrate the country music legend, who passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday, Nicole turned to her Instagram Story to share a family photograph with Dolly.
In the photograph, taken at a Nashville event, Dolly looked glamorous in a shimmering metallic silver croset-style top and matching fitted trousers. She completed the look with stunning heels, statement jewellery and her signature platinum blonde hair.

Nicole's decision to use a click featuring Keith was particularly noteworthy, as the former couple finalised their divorce in January after 19 years of marriage.
The pair separated in 2025 before Kidman filed for divorce that September, citing irreconcilable differences.
A Tennessee judge formally dissolved their marriage in January after they had reached agreements over their finances and parenting arrangements for daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Keith Urban, who grew up listening to Dolly's music in Australia, also shared his devastating reaction to the legends passing.
Turning to his Instagram Stories, Keith shared a black screen with a heartbreaking message, noting, "Heartbroken today. Dolly Parton. Honestly..... I have no words right now."
Dolly Parton's significant role in Keith Urban's life
Dolly had played an important role in one of the key moments of Keith's career.
When the singer was selected for induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2023, he only wanted Dolly to present the honour.
He personally wrote Dolly a letter asking her to induct him, later revealing, "There was only one person on my list and it was Dolly."
Dolly Parton's cause of death
It has been revealed that the music icon was secretly battling cancer before she passed away.
While confirming a "brief battle with cancer", her reps did not share the details about the cancer.
