Ariana Grande sparked concern after appearing to limp during her London concert amid a foot injury, with the singer later revealing she was recovering from a deep cut.
On Monday, the 7 Rings singer revealed she is suffering with a foot injury as she gave an update on her final two London shows.
Grande is taking a planned career break 'amid ongoing scrutiny' after her Eternal Sunshine tour concludes on Tuesday (September 1).
Before her last two London shows, the Wicked star revealed she was nursing a “deep cut” after appearing to limp during a recent performance.
She revealed she would ditch her signature heels in favor of comfy footwear while recovering from the foot injury.
Grande wrote: “My sweet petals, I wanted to let you know I will need to be in cozy footwear for this evenings show (and possibly tomorrow's) as I am bandaged up underneath, recovering from a minor injury.”
She added, “It is not a sprain or anything muscular but just a deep cut! So when you see me tonight without my signature heels, or even possibly having a little trouble putting weight on that foot, that is why!”
Grande noted, “But please do not fret. On with the show and I am on the mend. I cannot wait to perform for you tonight and tomorrow (even if I am a few inches shorter than usual).”
Earlier this month, Ariana Grand said her career hiatus had been “quietly planned a long time ago,” stressing that it was not prompted by negativity.
She said boundaries may be necessary and that people sometimes need a break, while calling her tour the “greatest experience” of her professional and creative life.
Ariana Grande has withdrawn from the London production of Sunday in the Park with George at the Barbican in summer 2027, where she was set to reunite with Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
Producers confirmed the show will go ahead with new casting to be announced.
