Amber Eggers has passed away.

On Friday, September 4, TMZ reported that the Love After Lockup alum died at the age of 41 after a tragic health battle in Atlanta.

According to her mum, Monica Eggers, the reality TV star breathed her last on Thursday night at an Atlanta hospital following her hospitalization.

Amber Eggers’ cause of death was reported to be acute liver failure.

A statement shared to the outlet revealed, “Amber died Thursday night at a hospital in Atlanta after she was admitted several days earlier because she wasn't feeling well. Monica said doctors couldn't keep Amber's heart beating any longer, and her daughter ultimately died from acute liver failure.”

Following her death, Amber’s fellow Love After Lockup castmate Merry Pants shared an emotional post, opening up about her demise.

“There really isn't a good way to say something like this. It doesn't feel real, and I don't think any words can make it feel real. Amber Eggers has lost her fight today and passed away,” she began.

Pants continued, “Amber was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday Sept 1st with liver failure. The doctors did everything they could, but in the end, her body just couldn't keep fighting. And if you knew Amber, you know she is a fighter.”

The reality TV star went on to speak on her years-long health battle, sharing that in 2025, Amber suffered from pneumonia which turned into sepsis and multiple organ failure, ultimately requiring life support.

After recovering from the issue, Amber Eggers suffered a mini-stroke.

“She will be missed more than we can probably put into words. Love After Lockup viewers and cast alike love Amber very much. We laughed with her, worried about her, and cheered her on through everything she faced. Thank you for being you, Amber. You are going to be missed,” Pants concluded.
