Sabrina Carpenter's winning streak has continued after winning the top prize at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The Man's Best Friend hitmaker – who last year created history by receiving her first Grammy nomination and prize- has now added her first Emmy to her awards list.
On Saturday, September 5th, the Creative Arts' organisers celebrated Emmy Night One, honouring the technical and behind-the-scenes achievements, guest acting, unscripted programming, and various creative categories.
Among the winners, Sabrina also won an Emmy Award for the Best Variety Special for her show, The Muppet Show.
What was Sabrina Carpenter's role in The Muppet Show?
ccording to media reports, the Short n' Sweet crooner has served as an executive producer and performer on the Disney+ project.
The show, which came out on February 4th of this year, saw the revival of Jim Henson's beloved Muppets for another round of variety-show sketches, songs, and celebrity guests.
However, it was directed by Alex Timbers, and it garnered millions of views and glowing reviews.
Notably, The Muppet Show received six Emmy nominations and won four at Saturday's Creative Arts: Best Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Best Writing for a Variety Special, Best Picture Editing for Variety Programming, and Best Production Design for a Variety Special.
The special has one more nomination at Sunday's Creative Arts: Best Character Voice-Over Performance for Matt Vogel as Kermit the Frog.
