Four years after the first season of All of Us Are Dead premiered on Netflix, fans have received a major update about season 2 during the streaming giant's 10th Korean anniversary event in Seoul.
The exciting events saw Netflix bringing the cast of the high school vampire-themed drama on stage, as it was confirmed that a pivotal character is still alive despite season 1 ending.
Who survived 'All of Us Are Dead' after Season 1?
It has been confirmed that Lee Cheong-san, played by Yoon Chan-young, has survived the chaos of season 1.
In July 2025, Netflix announced that Yoon will be returning for the second season; however, at the time, it was not shared whether the actor is returning in flashback scenes or as a halfbie.
On Saturday, October 24, Yoon shared the update himself on stage, as he noted, "Everyone, do you remember Cheong-san? You may have thought I was dead, but I, Cheong-san, am still alive."
Park Ji-hu, who portrays Nam On-jo, one of the central protagonists in the drama, teased, "Cheong-san, you were alive. I was really worried you wouldn't return, since you disappeared last season leaving so many questions unanswered," to which Yoon replied, "I missed you, On-jo."
Nam On-jo and Lee Cheong-san's dynamic
At the start of All of Us Are Dead, On-jo has a crush on a popular student Lee Su-hyeok (played by Lomon), and remains oblivious to feelings of her childhood best friend, Lee Cheong-san (played by Yoon Chan-young).
Despite the surprising confirmation, Netflix is yet to share a teaser or first look of Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead. It has been reported that the drama could be returning to the platform in early 2027.
