Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez's statement on begining family together
However, the baby plans are uncertain as the singer-turned-actress has previously revealed that she "can’t wait" to start her family with her husband.
During her in-depth interview with Jay Shetty in his infamous podcast, Selena said, "I don't know what will happen, obviously, but I love children."
"I love making [children] laugh; they're just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I’m so excited for it," the Ice Cream crooner added.
At the time, Benny also commented on baby plans, saying, "When you started doing this, you were a kid, and that was your way to connect to people, and I feel like you still feel like you have that obligation to connect with young kids."
Why Selena Gomez's baby plans are so uncertain?
Well, it’s only Selena Gomez's baby plans that are uncertain, as she cannot carry her own children due to serious medical complications that would put her life and the baby’s life in jeopardy.
While her desire to become a mother remains certain, her physical path to pregnancy is what she has had to navigate and grieve.
It is pertinent to note that Selena Gomez was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease lupus in 2015.
This chronic illness led to severe health struggles, culminating in a necessary kidney transplant in 2017.
