Selena Gomez is making a major move in her personal life, selling her $5.4 million Los Angeles mansion after recently hinting at starting a family with husband Benny Blanco.

As reported by TMZ, the Only Murder In The Building star sold her Encino, California mansion for $5.4 million on Tuesday.

She reached an agreement on the home after having initially placed the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom 11,500 sq. foot home on the market this past May with a $6.49 million asking price.

Gomez purchased the property for $4.89 million in 2020.

The property was once owned by late rock legend Tom Petty, who sold it in 2017, months before his death at 66 in Malibu.

The home was featured prominently in Selena + Chef and Gomez’s Rare Beauty makeup tutorial videos.

The sale comes less than two years after Gomez and husband Benny Blanco, 38, purchased a sprawling Beverly Hills mansion for $35 million in December 2024.

Gomez’s property sale comes shortly after she teased plans for motherhood on Tuesday.

The Calm Down singer took to her Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself interacting with a baby on her Instagram Story, alongside the caption, “One day.”

Gomez also included an emoji with teary eyes as well as one with the thought balloon.

Notably, she previously revealed that she is unable to carry a child amid a years-long battle with autoimmune condition lupus.

In September 2024, she revealed for the first time to Vanity Fair that she 'can't carry' children due to medical reasons.

Gomez revealed she had to “grieve” the possibility of becoming a mother naturally after years of battling lupus.

She also disclosed in a Billboard interview that she was hurt by speculation about an addiction while she was secretly undergoing treatment for lupus.
