Brian “Nashville” Duckworth has breathed his last.
On Thursday, September 10, USA Today reported that the Heavy Duty Beauty singer died at the age of 56 at his home in West Virginia, according to an obituary released by his family.
As per the statement, the singer, who was well-known for being a third of the band Taylor Made, “loved to sing and proudly performed with his family band, Taylor Made. Brian never passed up an opportunity to share his voice, earning him the affectionate nickname 'Nashville.’”
The obituary noted that music was "a special part of his life."
It also stated, “Above all, Brian treasured his family and the special memories they created together. He also dearly loved his faithful fur family, who were constant companions and brought him great comfort and happiness. Brian’s love of family, music, and the outdoors will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.”
In the statement, Duckworth’s family also shared plan about his funeral, noting that “Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton WV, Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 1:00PM until 6:00PM and Monday, September 14, 2026 from 9:00AM until 12:00PM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Baron Claypool officiating.”
“Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv Bartlett Funeral Home is honored to serve the Duckworth family,” they added.
Who was Brian Duckworth?
Brian Duckworth was an American country music star, best known as a member of the country group Taylor Made, which he founded with his siblings Wendy Williams and Greg Duckworth.
He is survived by his six children, Zach Morris (Lindsay), Ashton Goines, Logan Duckworth (Kayla), Kayla Starkey, Michael Starkey(Mikayla), and Matt Starkey (Teresa); four grandchildren, Jax, Raiden, Dane and Dimitri; and a special granddaughter on the way.
Duckworth is also survived by his mother-in-law, Naomi “Pauline” Kish Scheuvront; five sisters and brothers, Sherri Sibley, Christine Ward (Jody), Greg Duckworth (Rhonda), Wendy Adams (Mike), and Traci White (Steve); Jeff Duckworth (Jenny), two step sister, Sheri Summerfield (Forrest), Dusti Sayre (Dana) and his fur family, Chester, Lucy, Sloan, and Tank.
