Union Station's leading singer Alison Krauss has abruptly cancelled her remaining tour shows over the issue, which cannot be ignored.
The 55-year-old musician shared that her vocals require medical attention, due to which she has to cancel upcoming live performances scheduled in multiple cities.
Taking to her Instagram account, Alison revealed on Thursday, September 10th, that doctors have advised her to go on vocal rest, and the group's upcoming dates will be cancelled.
In a joint announcement post, the singer and the rock band confirmed that the shows will not be headlined by the band and the singer due to the unforeseen health crisis.
"It is with great regret that Alison Krauss & Union Station have announced the cancellation of our upcoming tour dates. After consulting with medical professionals, Alison has been advised to take a period of vocal rest to ensure a full and healthy recovery," they confirmed.
The statement further mentioned the cities and dates in which the shows have been cancelled, including Davenport, Highland Champaign, Evansville, Danville, Nashville, ST. Louis, Austin, Norman, Lubbock, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Alpine, Paso Robles, San Francisco, and others.
Alison and Union Station also made sure to inform their fans about the "fully refunded" amount, stating, "Fans are encouraged to reach out to their point of purchase for any questions. We hope to make it back to these cities in the near future."
When did Arcadia Tour begin?
The cancelled Arcadia Tour, which began in April last year and also extended into a second leg, the Arcadia 2026 Tour, in spring this year.
During the tour, Alison Krauss and Union Station have been supporting their eight-studio album, Arcadia, which was released on March 8th, 2025, through Down the Road Records.
This musical collection also marked the band's first album in fourteen years, following 2011's Paper Airplane, and is Alison Krauss' first album since Raise the Roof, her 2021 collaboration with Robert Plant.
