Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis has opened up about the challenges that come with dating her.
During a new interview with The Times, the hypnotherapist spoke out about his romance with the Friends actress, revealing the difficulties he faces being in a high-profile and public relationship.
"It’s certainly not helping me and it’s sensational," he said of the news around his relationship, adding, “So I have decided it’s better if I don’t look."
In the interview, Curtis also detailed his blissful routine with Aniston at her multimillion-dollar Bel Air mansion.
The author, who owns an apartment in New York, shared that when he is in Los Angeles, he stays at his actress girlfriend’s place, and the two spend meaningful time together.
Speaking to the outlet, Jim Curtis shared that he likes to wake up at 7 a.m. and do sit-ups in bed. He then feeds The Morning Show star’s three furry companions, Clyde, Sophie, and Lord Chesterfield, before making himself a cup of coffee to kick start the day.
The Book of Possibility writer’s breakfast typically consists of a hard-boiled egg or some fruits, after which he meditates and then do journaling.
"We take real responsibility to go within and understand and soothe ourselves. So we meditate together. I meditate and I’ll say things like 'I'm divinely guided', meaning I don’t have to worry, it's all working out,” he shared.
In the same conversation, Curtis also opened up about how dating Aniston instantly felt different than that of his past relationships.
He stated, "The drive was more natural, more organic, less needy. In the past I’ve felt this idea of, 'I need you to be in love with me …' I wasn’t searching for love any more. And what do I feel now? I feel real joy, real presence, real calmness, real partnership."
