Alia Bhatt never fails to stun when it comes to putting style on display.
On Friday, September 11, the Kalank actress made a stylish statement at the trailer launch of her newly-produced movie Don’t Be Shy, which is set to premiere later this month.
Taking to Instagram, the Student of the Year star posted a series of glimpses from the event, showing her turning heads in a mint-green sleeveless fitted top with a square neckline and a front zipper.
She paired the chic top with a pair of high-waisted, wide-leg dark brown trousers, creating a stylish look.
Letting her loose tresses flow effortlessly, Bhatt completed her look by wearing minimal makeup featuring defined eyes and a soft pink lip.

At the event, the Dear Zindagi star described Don’t Be Shy as being all about “first loves. best friends. heartbreaks. bad decisions. all the things that make growing up what it is.”
Bhatt has produced the young adult romantic comedy with her sister Shaheen Bhatt under their production banner Eternal Sunshine Productions.
Meanwhile, director Sreeti Mukerji stated, “Don’t Be Shy came from a place of missing the movies I watched growing up—movies I still return to when I want to feel safe, comforted, and entertained. This is my tribute to that time in our lives, when we’re on the brink of adulthood but still young in so many ways. It’s about that feeling of being reminded that, no matter how weird or wild life gets, we can always find our way back home to ourselves.”
The upcoming movie introduces four fresh faces – Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Piyush Khati, and Bianca Arora – into the film industry.
Speaking about her characters, Aarushi said, “Playing a character so different from who I am was both challenging and exciting, and stepping into Shy’s shoes pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way."
She continued, "Playing the role of Shy also came with a sense of responsibility—I wanted to give her everything I had and do justice to her journey. I can’t wait for audiences to finally meet her and experience the world through her eyes.”
