Amitabh Bachchan and Diljit Dosanjh have been targeted after Tiger Shroff suffered a shocking incident.
On Friday, October 23rd, multiple Indian media reports claimed that Mumbai’s mayor Ritu Tawde received threatening emails, which mentioned the Sholay actor and the Hass Hass hitmaker.
PTI reported that the email sent to the politician allegedly threatened a blast at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) headquarters at around 3.11 pm.
Why Amitabh Bachchan and Diljit Dosanjh's threats?
An email threatening attacks on Mumbai mayor Ritu Tawde's office, Amitabh's home and a concert by Diljit has prompted security agencies to step up precautions across the city.
Police searched the premises following the threat but found nothing suspicious.
Deputy mayor Sanjay Ghadi was also marked on the email.
The email reportedly mentioned an attack on Amitabh's Juhu residence, Jalsa, between October 31st and November 27th.
It also threatened an attack at Diljit's concert at Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Racecourse on November 27th, 2026.
A grenade attack at a school on October 31 was another threat mentioned in the email.
The message also referred to Khalistan, according to the report.
Security agencies are investigating the email’s authenticity and attempting to establish who sent it. Authorities have reportedly increased security and surveillance at the mayor's office, the racecourse, schools and the other locations named in the message.
So far, neither Amitabh Bachchan nor Diljit Dosanjh have responded to these threatening emails.
Tiger Shroff's firing incident
This incident came as a shock to fans, as a week ago Tiger Shroff suffered a disturbing firing incident, which he fortunately escaped and managed to flee from the scene.
However, his driver was shot.
At the time, the Bishnoi group has taken the responsibility of the firing incident, who have also targeted Salman Khan over his Kala Hiran case, for hurting their religious sentiments.
