Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh confirmed the arrival of their second baby girl.
The couple announced the happy news on Saturday, September 19th, in an adorable joint Instagram post.

The post shows a footprint of a girl, as it reveals the birth date of their second daughter, 19.9.26, as the happy news broke by Dua, Deepika and Ranveer.

Congratulations are in order for the two, who are embracing parenthood for the second time nearly two years since they welcomed their first daughter, Dua Padukone Singh.
Kriti Kharbanda wrote, "Congratulations."

However, the name and face of the newborn baby girl have not been disclosed by Deepika and Ranveer.
This update came shortly after their recent visit to Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday, as they sought blessings of Lord Ganesha.

Notably, fans' theories may also have proven to be true, as many speculated that during their first pregnancy and just before Dua's arrival, they visited the same temple and now, just one day before they announce another child.

For the unversed, the month of September is definitely fortunate for Deepika and Ranveer, who tied the knot on November 15th, 2018, as they initially welcomed their first daughter, Dua, on September 8th, and now their other baby girl on September 19th.
The two revealed their second pregnancy on April 19th, 2026, in a joint Instagram post featuring the big sister, Dua, holding a positive pregnancy test.
The second baby’s birth announcement also came a few days after celebrating Dua's second birthday, while showing off the actress’s pregnancy shoot.
Apart from their personal lives, Ranveer Singh has begun shooting for his zombie film, Pralay, while Deepika worked through her pregnancy on the film, King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
