Hindi music industry has seemingly found its new gem.
On Sunday, September 20, the makers of Ayushmann Khurana and Sharvari starrer Yeh Prem Mol Liya dropped the movie’s title track, sparking a frenzy on social media.
Taking to Instagram Himesh Reshammiya, who sang the track with Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, posted the music video, captioning, “The heart of our story is finally here. Churaya Nahi, Ishq Chhupaaya Nahi.. Khul Ke Zamaane Se Bol Diya.. Welcome to the world of #YehPremMolLiya!”
Shortly after its release, the song grabbed spotlight for its melodious music, enchanting vocals, and breathtaking visuals, garnering praise from both celebrities and fans.
On his Instagram Stories, Indian filmmaker Karan Johar lauded, “When conviction supersedes everything … when storytelling tries no frills and fancies and just follows the heart… when Sooraj Barjatya shines … there will be box office MAGIC and love… I CANT WAIT!!! @ayushmannk @sharvari @realhimesh… what a lovely lovely song!!!!!”
Iconic film director and choreographer Farah Khan also sang praises of the song, writing, “After a long time, a pure Indian melody.. a pure Indian film.. lovvvv it.”
According to Bollywood Hungama, the song will be introduced through a live musical event at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House, where composer and singer Himesh Reshammiya will perform with an orchestra of 25 musicians.
“A little glimpse of the magic that’s coming your way… Can’t wait for you to experience our title track in all its glory!” teased the makers.
