In a significant update, Apple has introduced the latest music venue to London with the opening of Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station.

The visually-appealing venue is particularly designed to make a connection with artists and fans via intimate live performances.

Apple Music Hall is able to cater nearly 600 individuals, with each seat placed to offer a close view of performers, providing a lavish experience, aiming to take your listening experience to the next level.

Notably, its 38-foot wide stage can be reconfigured for in-the-round performances.

The venue entails a 48-speaker spatial sound system designed to support high-quality live audio.

Beyond hosting concerts, Apple Music Hall will run as a production facility.

The state-of-art venue includes two professional recording and mixing studios, along with infrastructure for over 16 cameras and a broadcast control room.

The facility also supports video capture using iPhone technology.

According to Apple, artists will be able to perform a live show and leave with a finished Spatial Audio recording, a broadcast-ready mix and multicamera video from the same performance. Shows will also be livestreamed worldwide, letting audiences outside London to watch performances.

Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and international content, released a statement, writing ”Apple’s deep love for music dates all the way back to the very beginning, from the launch of the iPod to the long-running iTunes Music Festival to the debut of Apple Music.”

“Today, with the opening of Apple Music Hall, we are once again taking an unprecedented step further in our commitment to artists and fans by supporting live music in ways only Apple can do,” the statement added.

Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director and lead anchor for Apple Music 1, also underscored the venue’s role in bringing musicians and audiences closer together.

Apple Music Hall is slated to officially kick off on September 28, with information about upcoming performances available through the venue’s website.
