Ranbir Kapoor has kicked off the Love & War era with full intensity.
On Thursday, September 24, the Bhansali Productions unveiled the first look of Kapoor from their upcoming epic romantic war drama film, sparking a massive frenzy among fans.
“oh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027. See you at the movies!” read the caption.
The newly-released poster showed Ranbir Kapoor’s fierce look, featuring him driving a vintage car, dressed in a white T-shirt, and sporting a pair of stylish sunglasses.
However, what actually grabbed fans’ attention was the actor’s hand injured, bruised and smeared with blood, taking fans back to his Animal era.
The highly anticipated project, which also stars Kapoor’s wife Alia Bhatt and actor Vicky Kaushal, will mark the Ramayana actor’s reunion with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after nearly two decades as the two have previously worked together on 2007’s Saawariya.
While keeping details under wraps, Bhansali revealed his excitement about reuniting with Kapoor during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India.
He stated, “I'm working with Ranbir [Kapoor] after 18 years and I can't stop working with Alia [Bhatt] because there's still so much [potential] to tap into; The chota-packet-bada-dhamaka girl that she is. I’m also working with Vicky Kaushal for the first time. But besides being wonderful actors, they're wonderful people.”
