In a shocking new development, Jenna Ortega is planning a hiatus from small screen.
On the Thursday, October 22 episode of Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the 24-year-old American actress shocked fans by announcing her major career move, sharing that she might take a break from TV in near future.
Speaking to the host, Ortega shared that she may take the break following the release of Wednesday Season 3, which is expected to premiere on Netflix around mid-to-late 2027.
“I actually haven’t had a lot of franchise conversations. I haven’t. But what I’m meant to do will come and find me. I think after ‘Wednesday,’ I’ll probably be off the TV for a while,” she stated.
The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star revealed that she’d had “many years doing that,” noting, “I was bouncing from show to show as a kid, this to this, and I want to leave time for new things.”
