Meghan Markle's stepbrother, Thomas Markle Jr., has been named as a "person of interest" amid dad, Thomas Markle Sr.'s, sexual abuse case.
On Thursday, November 5th, the Philippine authorities revealed that the American television star, who initially informed police officials that he found child abuse material containing images at his dad's property, is now being dragged into the investigations.
For the unversed, police officials have been investigating the material found at the 80-year-old former director’s residence in the Philippines and have been examining the extracted USB’s, laptop and photographs.

Now, in a press conference in Manila, Philippine Interior Minister Juanito Victor Remulla shared that Thomas Markle Jr. will also have to be answerable to the instigators, as he is a "wider part" of the investigation.
"Indications are suggesting that the son may also be involved in the crime, but only as a person of interest so far," the politician revealed.
However, he also mentioned that the half-brother of the Duchess of Sussex is "Not yet treated as a suspect."

What allegations Thomas Markle Sr. is currently facing?
In late October of this year, the half-brother of Meghan Markle reported his estranged father to authorities in Cebu, Philippines, and the FBI, claiming he found thousands of images, videos, and electronic devices (including mobile phones, hard drives, and computers) containing suspected child sexual abuse material linked to his father’s former home.
Speaking about the controversy, Prince Harry's wife said "she was deeply stressed" over the claims, and also revealed that the Met Police sent her a letter informing her about her dad’s alleged involvement in a sexual abuse case, but police did not take any further action on the case.
So far, Thomas Markle, who is apparently in America for medical treatment, has denied any wrongdoing.
