General Hospital star Johnny Wactor's  family has spoken up for the first time after actor’s death, who was killed in Los Angeles during a fatal shooting on Saturday morning.

Wactor’s mother Scarlett, and two brothers, Lance and Grant made a virtual appearance on Morning America to express their thoughts on General Hospital actor’s tragic death.

Scarlett said, "They took a wonderful person," while her son Lance confessed, "The worst part is just not being able to have a conversation with him again. That's one of my best friends."

Wactor’s another brother Grant also admitted that because of the former’s untimely death there’s "an emptiness that doesn't get filled."

This new interview comes shortly after the Los Angeles Police Department released an official statement on Monday, which confirmed, “The three suspects involved were wearing all dark clothing and driving a dark colored sedan."

"The suspects fled northbound on Hope St. Central Bureau Homicide is investigating the case and is requesting the public's help,” added the statement by LAPD.

Prior to this Grant confirmed to Daily Mail that his brother was with a female coworker when he was surrounded by three thieves.

According to him, the actor initially believed that his car was being towed, but he quickly recognized the situation and moved to put himself in front of his colleague, protecting her with his body.
