Nikola Jokic made NBA history by becoming the first player ever to achieve a triple-double.

As per BBC Sports, this historic performance took place during the Denver Nuggets' overtime win (149-141) against the Phoenix Suns.

Jokic had an outstanding performance, scoring 31 points, grabbing 21 rebounds, and providing 22 assists in a single game.

The Phoenix Suns were losing by 21 points in the third quarter, but they made an impressive comeback.

Kevin Durant, who scored a total of 29 points, made a three-point shot just as time expired, forcing the game into overtime.

As per the outlet, Denver Nuggets took control early in overtime and secured their second consecutive win.

With 41-22 win-loss record, they are currently in third place in the Western Conference.

Their next game is against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the conference leaders, who recently won 107-89 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Jokic is Serbian basketball player who plays as a center for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA.

His nickname is "the Joker", and he is recognized as one of the greatest players and centers in NBA history and is also considered one of the biggest draft steals.
