Bob's Burgers voice actor Eugene Mirman is facing serious injuries after a horrific car crash in New Hampshire.

On Tuesday, a 2026 Lucid Gravity crashed into the Bedford Toll Plaza, and Mirman was identified as the driver.

He was pulled from a car, which was on fire upon the accident, through a window by a veteran state trooper assigned to protect Governor Kelly Ayotte.

The 51-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital, and while no charges have been filed, the crash is under investigation.

A spokesperson for Mirman shared a statement with The Hollywood Reporter noting, "Eugene was in a very scary car accident. He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him."

"He is grateful to be on the mend. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries," the statement further read.

Governor Kelly Ayotte turned to X to address the rescue operation, which took place in front of her, penning, "I want to thank the Trooper on my security detail and the bystanders who stepped up to help at the scene of the crash for their brave lifesaving efforts today. Joe and I are praying for the full recovery of the driver who was injured today.”

In the hit animated sitcom, Mirman voices Gene Belcher, and he has appeared in all 16 instalments of the series.
