Meghan Markle has been left "fuming" after Prince Harry's old texts bring a fresh wave of embarrassment.
Earlier this week, the Duke of Sussex appeared at the High Court for the latest hearing of his infamous lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the Daily Mail.
During the hearing, Harry's 2011 text messages to the Mail's journalist Charlotte Griffiths were made public, leaving the Duke embarrassed.
In an alleged message, King Charles' younger son referred to the reporter as "sugar" and concluded his message with "mwah."
Another text read, "Miss our movie snuggles."
The shocking texts have brought a fresh wave of humiliation to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have long been reeling with intense scrutiny over leaving the Royal Family and the recent Netflix deal break.
In its new report, Radar Online revealed that the release of Harry's messages has left Meghan Markle "fuming," as she is desperately making efforts to control the negative narrative surrounding them.
"This has led to Harry picking up the nickname 'Flirty Harry' because of the tone of those messages, and Meghan Markle is fuming that all of this is now doing the rounds," an insider revealed.
They shared, "Meghan feels it is embarrassing and frustrating, especially given how hard they have worked to control their narrative, and now these old conversations are being picked apart publicly."
The source further noted, "The fact that the messages come across as so playful and familiar has left Meghan particularly unhappy that this side of Harry is being highlighted in such a public way."
For those unfamiliar, Prince Harry has sued the Mail's Associated Newspapers Limited for privacy invasion and unlawful information gathering.
