Ranbir Kapoor has finally broken his silence on Dhoom 4 casting rumours.
During his special appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, the Animal actor cleared the air on his possible role in an upcoming instalment of Dhoom.
Over the weekend, Ranbir has taken on stage while promoting his another high budget film, Ramayana, Ranbir put an end to reports suggesting he would headline the next installment of Yash Raj Films' blockbuster action franchise.
The father of one also confirmed that he will be next appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film, Love & War, which also stars his wife, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in the leading role.
Major confirmation about his another film
"No, right now I am working on Ramayana and another film called Love & War, which is directed by Mr. Sanjay Bhansali. That should be out on January 24 next year," Ranbir confirmed.
For those unaware, the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani star plays is currently in the headlines due to his anticipating mythological film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari in which he set to portray as Lord Ram.
At the star-studded appearance, the popular Indian actor was accompanied by his Ramayana co-stars, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey.
Following the success of previous installments led by John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan, several reports suggested that Yash Raj Films was considering Ranbir as the next charismatic antagonist.
However, the production house has not officially announced the cast or confirmed the development of Dhoom 4, and Ranbir’s latest statement makes it clear that he is not currently attached to the project.
As for Ramayana is planned as a two-part saga, Part 1 slated for a Diwali 2026 release and Part 2 expected to arrive during Diwali 2027.
Speaking about the project recently, Ranbir described portraying Lord Rama as both a blessing and a moral responsibility.
