Her outing came almost two months after Chris Anne Affleck died aged 83 on June 2 following pancreatic cancer.
Despite her split from Ben Affleck, Garner remained close to his mother.
Garner opted for a casual look, wearing a white T-shirt emblazoned with the French phrase "Maman Je T'aime," meaning "I love you, Mom."
She opted for white-and-blue striped pants, complemented by a pair of comfortable white sandals.
Her brunette tresses were tied back in a simple ponytail, while a pair of fashionable sunglasses completed the look.
She was seen walking through the bustling outdoor market with a roomy tote bag over one shoulder.
Garner was later spotted heading towards the sidewalk as she made her way to her next destination.

The outing comes weeks after Ben Affleck's mother, Chris Anne, died on June 2 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Despite Garner and Affleck's 2018 divorce, the actress remained close to her former mother-in-law.
Affleck’s mom appeared to have developed a close bond which continued despite her son's divorce.
Chris Anne notably stayed with Garner and her kids back in 2018 when the actor was getting treatment at a rehab facility.
The family reunited for Thanksgiving at Garner's home late last year, with Chris Anne among those in attendance.
Chris Anne was seen on various outings over the years with Affleck and Garner as well as her grandkids.
