Kris Jenner paid an emotional tribute to her late mother, Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell, on what would have been her first birthday since her death at 91.
The momager shared heartfelt memories and family photos, honouring MJ's lasting legacy just days after announcing her passing.
She marked her mom Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell’s first posthumous birthday in an Instagram post on Sunday, July 26.
The heartfelt tribute comes just 10 days after MJ’s death at age 91.
“Happy Heavenly Birthday Mommy. I love you,” Kris captioned a set of images featuring the beloved matriarch.
The post starts with a cheerful photo of MJ in a colourful floral jacket, followed by a picture of her and Kris sitting together at a table. Another image captures the mother-daughter duo hugging.
Kris’ tribute continued with another sweet picture alongside MJ, followed by a group family portrait featuring Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and more family members.
The remaining photos highlight cherished family moments, including a picture of MJ flashing a peace sign.
Kris previously announced the death of her mom in an Instagram post on July 16.
“There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye,” she wrote in the caption.
Kris added, “My mom was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that truly matters … to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted.”
Kim Kardashian also paid tribute to her grandmother after her death.
