Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have made one last move as their marriage leads to a "nasty" divorce.
The former Duke of York's daughter has been taking measured steps to save her marriage with her businessman partner.
An insider close to the princess of York revealed that the beloved niece of King Charles III has started taking therapy as a last-ditch effort to turn things around.
"They're trying to calm all the speculation because the last thing they need right now is more negative attention, but it’s well known among their inner circle that there are some very real problems in the relationship," the source added.
Notably, the tipster noted, "Everything that’s been going on with Beatrice’s parents has taken a huge toll on the marriage and Edo’s become very distant, so they’re in a difficult place."
Beatrice and Edoardo’s marriage has been centre stage since the princess’ father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, was stripped of his titles by His Majesty himself in October last year.
The disgraced member of the British Royal Family was arrested in February on his 66th birthday after his alleged connection with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was revealed.
Why Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's marriage at risk?
Reportedly, the arrest put Beatrice's marriage at risk and led Andrew's wife, Sarah Ferguson, to disappear from the United Kingdom.
Despite the ex-prince denying any wrongdoing, his eldest has to pay a hefty cost for his deeds.
"But even if they can’t, they’re determined to keep things as amicable as possible. That’s why they’ve started working on things in therapy. They’re hoping it’ll help them repair things, but if they do decide to separate, it’ll also make it much easier to handle everything respectfully," the insider noted.
Last public appearance of the royal couple
The two last made joint appearance in June when they attended Princess Anne's son, Peter Phillips second marriage with Harriet Sperlings in Cotswolds.
As of now, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who tied the knot in 2020, have not reacted to these ongoing marriage difficulties rumours.
