OpenAI is seemingly developing the latest ChatGPT feature that generates WhatsApp much easier.
As per APK teardown of the newest ChatGPT Android app, the new update lets user to create customer sticker packs directly within ChatGPT and export them to the Meta-owned WhatsApp without the current manual procedure.
One-tap sticker creation for WhatsApp
Currently, users who generate stickers with ChatGPT have to install AI-centric images, crop them, and manually import them into WhatsApp.
The forthcoming "ChatGPT Sticker" feature aims to ease this workflow by enabling users to generate stickets and send them directly to the app from within the app.
Code hints reveal forthcoming feature
A report suggested WhatsApp contains multiple new strings, including "ChatGPT Stickers," Add to WhatsApp," "Download stickers," and "Couldn't add stickers to WhatsApp."
An Android intent related to allowing WhatsApp sticker packs was also discovered, suggesting the ChatGPT manufacturer is proactively working on native sticker export support.
WhatsApp's sticker pack rules apply
The company is likely to require users to generate at least three stickers ahead of exporting them.
This aligns with the company's existing needs that each sticker pack must contain a minimum of three and a maximum of 30 stickers.
Availability
The new feature is currently under development. While the company has yet to officially announce an official launch date.
