Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning fresh meetings with King Charles during a UK visit, with the Sussexes said to be hoping for a rare joint public appearance with the monarch.

Speaking to GB News, Richard Fitzwilliams said: "Their plan is undoubtedly to see more of Britain, to come over more often and see more of the King."

He shared that Harry and Meghan have been hoping for King Charles to attend the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

Fitzwilliams stated, "The Sussexes have been aiming for King Charles to attend for a long time."

He struck a cautious tone, warning: "The plan is one thing, the execution is another."

The King’s desire to see his grandchildren remains a key consideration, although the royal expert admitted that “it is unclear how that will be managed.”

Prince Harry's high-profile five-day trip to the U.K. in July 2026 involved promoting the upcoming Invictus Games, and a brief private family reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House alongside Meghan Markle and their children.

Meghan skipped Harry’s public engagements amid security concerns, while Harry has yet to secure enhanced UK protection after losing his legal challenge against the Home Office.

Despite the challenges, the visit marked a major personal moment as Charles reunited with Archie and Lilibet for the first time in four years.

Meghan and Queen Camilla also attended the family gathering, though details of their discussions remain private.

To note, the Duke of Sussex launched the Invictus Games in 2014 to support wounded military personnel and veterans during his time as a working royal.

Following the Sussexes’ 2020 royal exit, the Duke expanded the Invictus Games internationally, staging events in the Netherlands, Germany and Canada.

Birmingham will host the 2027 edition from July 10 to 17, marking the first time the Games have taken place on British soil since their debut over a decade ago.
