Lamine Yamal debuts a new look on returning to the Barcelona camp for the La Liga.
The 19-year-old who won the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Spain got back to the action with Barcelona to show his magic in the La Liga that kicked off on Saturday, August 15.
Yamal, who scored a penalty in his first match after the World Cup and widely discussed vacations with girlfriend Inés García, is now turning head after fans noted a change in his appearance.
The right winger looked a little different during the training camp, and social media users quickly noted that the change was because he was growing out his beard and moustache.
This means that Yamal is finally completing his promise that he made before the World Cup.
Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, several Spanish team players made some bold pledges if the national team won the title.
Gavi promised to dye his hair pink if La Roja had won the 2026 FIFA World Cup and kept his word. Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Pedri dyed his hair white after helping Spain become the world champions for the second time.
Marc Cucurella said he will get a tattoo of Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente, and he also fulfilled his promised days after beating Argentina 1-0 in the final.
Yamal also made a promise but is yet to keep it. He said that he would keep his beard and moustache for three weeks.
He said, via Barca Blaugranes, "I promise that if I win the World Cup, I'll grow my beard and moustache for three weeks."
After the rest of the three players kept their words, all eyes were on Yamal, who was enjoying a much-needed holiday with his girlfriend, Inés García.
But in returning to Spain and training camp after celebrating his pink-themed 19th birthday bash, the footballer was seen with a light beard, which means that soon during the La Liga fan will witness a new look of the star footballer.
It is worth noting, Lamine Yamal has already won almost everything for the club and country and is still just 19 years of age. He has won LaLiga thrice, Copa del Rey once, and Supercopa de España twice while winning the UEFA European Championship and FIFA World Cup with Spain.
