Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to sizzle on the big screen with her upcoming film, Daayra.
After debunking her third pregnancy rumours with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, the Jab We Met actress shared a new update on her thriller movie.
On Tuesday, August 25th, Kareena turned to her Instagram account to release the first poster of the new project.
"Two officers. Two perspectives. One Truth. The trailer unfolds on 31st August. Inspired by true events. Daayra arrives In Cinemas in Hindi & Malayalam on 18th September 2026," The Buckingham Murders actress noted.
Notably, the new poster featured Kareena and her co-star, Prithviraj Sukumaran, with whom she will be seen sharing the screen, unfolding the murder mystery.

According to the media reports, Daayra is inspired by true events; the film centres around a highly controversial case that places two police officers, DCP Raman Kumar (played by Prithvi) and DCP Ajooni Kohli (portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan)
The narrative acts as a social commentary exploring how a diabolical act triggers a chain of intense, opposing reactions that split public opinion and cause heavy societal polarisation.
