Sonam Wangchuk has finally broken his silence over Salman Khan's cryptic remark, which he later altered.
After the successful protests and campaign against the Education Minister of India, Dharmendra Pradhan, the activist and educator has made a statement after the actor's viral comment, "Sonam, it's done, bro."
In a latest conversation, Sonam said, "Everyone would have had their share of compulsions. I don’t want to get into that. You have to look in all directions. The fact that he even said something at all, I respect that."
"Otherwise, I can't comment on his compulsions," the educationist added.

For those unaware, on July 22nd, Salman took to his X account during the Cockroach Janta Party-led student protest over the NEET-UG paper leak.

During the protest, Sonam and other activists took part in a long-running hunger strike. Commenting on the protest and the intensity of the hunger strike, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor wrote, "It was such a peaceful movement; I feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn."
The Indian superstar further expressed his disappointment over the violence caused by the protesters and the police officials, he added. "My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt."
"Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know and see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them. Truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard and make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, and the students have done this peacefully," he continued.
The Veer actor concluded his post, "Sonam, it’s done, bro. Don’t extend this. Keep the spirit for another day if there be a need, which I doubt, and eat something. If u want, will send u food from home."
Despite his appeal, the hunger ended when the government accepted the students’ demand, leading to the removal of Dharmendra Pradhan as the Education Minister.
