Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi’s rumored romance has sparked fresh confusion after Brody Jenner weighed in on whether the pair ever dated or had actually called it quits.
On Thursday, August 27, the Daily Mail claimed The Kardashians star’s family was unhappy with the Wuthering Heights star allegedly because he wasn’t helping pay for their getaways and outings.
Brody slammed the report, replying via an Instagram comment on Monday, August 31, “I can confirm that this is clickbait,” with a thumbs-down emoji.
Kendall, 30, and Elordi were originally linked in April after being friends for years.
“They have known each other socially for years now and have hung out in similar circles, but it became romantic recently,” a source exclusively told US Weekly at the time, adding that Kendall thought the Elordi was “a really cool and down-to-earth guy.”
The insider noted that the pair are “casually seeing each other.”
“[Kendall] likes spending time with him when it works, but she’s not trying to force a relationship,” the source added.
They mentioned, “It’s very much a ‘have fun when they’re in the same place’ situation. Neither of them wants anything serious right now.”
The source noted that Kendall had grown more open to dating an actor, pointing to Kylie’s romance with Timothée Chalamet as an influence.
“It has been fun for Kylie and Kendall to hang out with Timothée and Jacob together because they are all friendly and have a lot of common ground,” the insider shared, before adding, “It doesn’t happen often, but it has been fun for the four of them.”
Before being linked to Elordi, Kendall dated Devin Booker and was romantically connected to Bad Bunny.
Kendall Jenner has spoken openly about her plans for starting a family, admitting she goes through phases of “baby fever.”
She later joked that her many nieces and nephews can be “massive birth control.”
Kendall recently defended taking her time with motherhood, telling Vogue in 2024 that she once hoped to have kids by 27 but now enjoys her “kidless freedom.”
