Travis Kelce has opened up about his “magical” wedding to Taylor Swift, revealing why Madison Square Garden was the perfect venue for their intimate yet star-studded celebration.
On Wednesday’s New Heights, the NFL star reflected on his NYC wedding to the Lover singer and revealed why he felt Madison Square Garden was the perfect venue.
“Thank you [to] everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this,” he said while chatting with brother and co-host Jason Kelce.
Kelce added, “We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions.”
The Kansas City Chiefs player noted, “We needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
He went on to share, “I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up but also that helped put the show on, and it was a very magical, magical night.”
MSG underwent a dramatic transformation for the July 3 nuptials, while Kelce reflected on the “magical” event and said it fell over in an instant.
He also told the audience, “The night was a night we’ll never forget. Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, you know, from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening.”

Kelce singled out Sandler for praise, calling him the “f–king best person” and noting that he was ordained to officiate the wedding.
More than a month after tying the knot, Kelce said he has loved hearing everyone’s stories about the wedding night.
The Catching Kelce alum first addressed the “crazy” celebration at training camp in July.
“It was a fun offseason, man,” he said at the time before diving into the “best night of [his] life.”
Kelce thanked everyone who celebrated with them, calling the wedding a “crazy night” filled with celebration before joking that it was time to get back to “football, baby.”
To note Swift has yet to publicly discuss the wedding.
