WWE is reportedly preparing a significant creative direction shift for Raw superstar Ivy Nile.
According to a report from Fightful Select, internal creative sources reveal that officials have been developing ideas for quite some time to bring a “big change” to her on-screen presentation and character direction.
Uncertain future and expiration date
This major update comes at a crucial turning point in Nile’s career, as her WWE contract is set to expire this fall.
While it remains unconfirmed whether formal contract negotiations have begun or an extension offer has been signed, the ongoing creative discussions strongly indicate that WWE management holds long-term interest in retaining her services.
In-ring absence and recent history
The powerhouse athlete has been largely absent from flagship television for several months. Her last appearance on Monday Night Raw occurred in March, where she competed in a number one contender’s gauntlet match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Since then, Nile has primarily worked matches on WWE Main Event – most recently securing a victory over PJ Vasa in early August – and split off creatively from the American Made faction following Chad Gable’s shoulder injury.
What lies ahead for the Raw star
Originally joining WWE in 2020 following an impressive background on NBC’s Titan Games, Nile built a strong reputation in NXT as part of Diamond Mine before making her main roster leap alongside the Creed Brothers.
