Salman Khan is ready to grace the screen in a cameo role to support another Khan's kid.
It has been reported that the Bollywood hero is set to make a cameo appearance in Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora's son Arhaan Khan's directorial debut.
About Salman Khan's cameo
While the details about the action love story have been kept under wraps, sources have shared that Salman will play a small but pivotal role in the project, supporting his nephew's first film.
The actor is expected to film for 10 days for his cameo appearance.
The yet-to-be titled film will be directed by Anirudh Iyer, who previously helmed Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat-starrer An Action Hero (2022).
Ashwin Varde, whose previous producing credits include Kabir Singh, OMG 2, Khel Khel Mein, and The Diplomat, will produce this project.
Arhaan Khan finally making film debut
Arhaan has been preparing for his film debut for several years now.
He studied filmmaking in the US and later worked with Vikram Phadnis and also assisted Karan Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.
He currently hosts a podcast on his YouTube channel, Dumb Biryani.
The makers are currently casting for the female lead and are said to be looking for a fresh face to complement Arhaan and bring a sense of freshness to the young romantic drama.
Filming is being planned for early next year, though the exact timeline has not been revealed.
The project will mark Anirudh Iyer's second directorial project following An Action Hero.
Previously, Salman Khan made a few seconds' appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, released last year.
