Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are mourning the loss of their beloved fur baby.
On Saturday, September 5th, the Rich Girl hitmaker confirmed the death of her longtime pet companion, Betty, in a heartbreaking post on her Instagram account.
Recalling all the warm memories of the deceased four-legged friend, Gwen announced, "It's with the heaviest hearts that we share our sweet Betty has gone to heaven."
"She made us all smile for 18 years… we're going to miss her forever. " Thank you, Betty, for all the love + joy u brought into our lives," the Cool crooner captioned her post.
Alongside the devastating statement, the critically acclaimed musician also posted a video, showing herself playing with Betty.
The footage – which now went viral on social media- featured some of her public appearances, mentions on TV and a clip of her cameo in their music video for Nobody But You.
Several fans also express condolences to the grieving couple.
One fan commented, "Dogs leave paw prints on our hearts that never truly fade. Sending Love to you and the fam," one fan commented.
Another user virtually sent warm wishes, noting, "Omg precious betty. I’m so sorry for your loss. sending you and your family so much love."
