After a historic World Cup run, Erling Haaland is aiming to become unstoppable!

The Norway star scored the 300th goal of his club career in a match against Coventry, which saw the Manchester City side win1-0.

Erling Haaland's 300-goal milestone explained

Haaland bagged the milestone in just 384 appearances for clubs, including Molde, Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund and City.

He reached 300 goals faster than Kylian Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo, who marked the record in 398 and 499 games, respectively; however, the Norway striker was slightly slower than Lionel Messi, who needed 365 appearances for the achievement.

While the City have spent over $609 million to revamp their squad under Enzo Maresca, Haaland remains their most dangerous asset.

His 26th-minute goal at the Etihad Stadium provided the decisive moment against Coventry.

Following the game, Haaland noted, "I should have scored more goals to finish the game off but I didn't so I made it difficult for the team and managed to keep Coventry in the game until the end."

"In the Premier League if you don't execute it will be difficult," he added.

Manchester City continued spending heavily even after the Guardiola era. On the final day of the transfer window, they signed Enzo Fernandez and Iliman Ndiaye.

Both players started against Coventry, along with another expensive new signing, Elliot Anderson.

Erling Haaland's clubs run

Haaland has been making a name for himself by showcasing his strength, speed, and movement. From his breakthrough in Norway to his emergence as a European superstar in Austria and Germany, the 26-year-old has consistently found the net at an extraordinary rate.

His move to Manchester City has only accelerated that progress.

With 165 goals already for the club, Haaland has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the Premier League and one of the most feared forwards in world football.

Notably, Manchester City are three points clear of defending champions Arsenal, who will play Chelsea on Sunday.
