Queen Camilla and King Charles III halted their summer holiday to host a key meeting at Balmoral Castle.
Their Majesties – who usually spend their weekend at Balmoral due to their weekly Sunday services- were joined by two special guests, Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his wife, Marie-France Van-Heel.
On Sunday, September 6th, Charles and Camilla were spotted arriving by car at Crathie Kirk, the small parish church near where the royal family holiday at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
First joint appearance after Harry and Meghan's rerurn to UK
In the new photos obtained by Hello! The 78-year-old British monarch and his life partner appeared in "good spirits" as this marked their first joint appearance since the youngest son of the King, Prince Harry, arrived in the United Kingdom for the "extended period" alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two kids, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
The 79-year-old Queen consort also grabbed the attention of royal fans as she paid a heartfelt tribute to Scotland with her vibrant blue jacket and a tartan collar, which she paired with a large feather on her red hat.
Meanwhile, the King was wearing a black suit with a crisp white shirt.
Sunday service at Crathie Kirk has become a regular tradition for the royal family during their annual summer holidays in Aberdeenshire.
This update came after Andy Burnham and his wife, Marie-France van Heel, joined the royals last week for a special event in London.
