On the second night of the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys, the 58-year-old American television host and Apple TV+'s breakout horror-comedy series Widow's Bay were tied together by the awards show.
The horror-comedy television series emerged as the night's biggest winner, taking home eight awards, including a win for Betty Gilpin as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
Jimmy won for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys, which he later celebrated with his wife, Molly McNearney.
A heartfelt thanks before his hosting gig
On Sunday, September 6th, the television anchor and host turned to his Instagram account to share his excitement after winning the major accolade at the awards show.
In his thank-you message, Jimmy penned, "Thanks to the @TelevisionAcad, the gang at @MillionaireTV, @SonyPicturesTV, @ABC, @EmbassyDavies, @Millsy11374, @KevinKimmel, @TheRealJoshHalloway, @JesseJoyce1, @BariJean."
He further gushed over his life partner as he called her "best dressed wife Molly," stating, "and the incomparable Regis - new episodes of WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE return Wednesday, October 7th at 98c."
For the unversed, Jimmy Kimmel has been hosting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire since April 2020, years before he was abruptly suspended by the 47th elected President of the United States of America last year.
