Nora Fatehi's Mumbai to Jaipur flight has taken a new direction, leaving the actress under pressure.
After the 34-year-old Canadian singer and dancer unexpectedly called an aviation flight a "toy", the flight company filed a lawsuit against the actress at a Gandhinagar court in Gujarat.
Rediff reported that Nora was travelling on a flight from Mumbai to Jaipur when she recorded the videos that triggered a major 3 crore Rupees civil defamation lawsuit.
The lawsuit stems from videos she filmed inside a Cessna Citation CJ2 charter aircraft, which she subsequently posted to her Instagram account. In her posts, she described the private aircraft as a "miniature," a "toy," and a "Lego aeroplane."
The aviation company claims her remarks were reckless, unverified, and caused significant commercial damage, leading to a 15% to 20% drop in bookings and an increase in cancellations.

For the unversed, the suit – which was initially filed in April of this year – stated that the aircraft was standard and ideally sized for the journey undertaken by the defendant, is fully DGCA-certified, airworthy and lawfully operated under a valid NSOP.
However, the false interpretation has caused a major drop in finances and business, for which the actress must pay.
Apart from Rs 3 crore (Rs 30 million) in damages, the suit also sought the court's direction for immediate removal of all content from social media platforms containing the statement or references to the aircraft, and a public clarification by the actor.
