Ransom Canyon's makers have received upsetting update from Netflix after the season two.
The largest subscription based streaming giant has abruptly announced not to proceed the television series with another third instalment.
On Thursday, September 10th, Netflix has confirmed that the main characters of the series, Staten and Quinn, played by Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly, will stay forever after the finally reached their happily ever after.
This update came nearly after two weeks, when Netflix revealed that Ransom Canyon season 3 made headlines due to its possible arrival.
However, the season later cancelled, after the subscription giant managed not to secure enough weighing cost and performance for its renewal decisions for another show.
Fans' reaction over Ransom Canyon's abrupt cancellation
As the decision has been made public, fans left with disappointment with one said, "Why?! This is such a good show!"
"Omg this sucks!! I just finished this and it is such a good show!" another added.
A third netizen expressed disappointment, "No way, it needs season 3 to cap it all off. There is unfinished stories. Very sad."

For those unaware, Ranson Canyon is based on a novel on the same name that follows three rival ranching families in the Texas Hill Country as they fight to protect their land, water rights, and family legacies.
The story takes place in a small Texas town where modern pressures collide with traditional ranch life. Families are locked in a fierce battle for control of the area.
Outside corporate forces and local rivals try to seize property by pushing for a disruptive water pipeline through the canyon.
The debut season of Ransom Canyon premiered on April 17th, 2025 and July 23rd, 2026.
Notably, the second instalment consisted of eight episodes, following the romantic neo-Western drama set in the Texas Hill Country starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly.
