King Charles has been hit by a sorrowful news as his former girlfriend has passed away.
In a Friday, September 11 update, GB News shared that the British monarch’s ex-girlfriend Davina Morley, who was described as his “soulmate,” died at the age of 75 following a serious health battle.
According to her family, Morley breathed her last on September 2, 2026, after a “short illness.” However, they did not disclose exactly what health concern she was facing.
During her final moments, Davina Morley, who was once regarded as a top candidate to become Britain’s Queen, was surrounded by her three sons, Tom, Billy, and Henry.
In her remembrance, her family is set to hold a celebration of life service in November.

Davina Morley, born Davina Sheffield, was a British aristocrat and the granddaughter of Lord McGowan, a prominent Scottish industrialist who served as Chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries for two decades.
She was the former girlfriend of King Charles III, the then-Prince of Wales, and shared a family connection with him through their common link to King Charles II.
The ex-lovers had a high-profile relationship in the mid-1970s, with royal watchers describing her as a leading candidate to become the Queen of the UK.
As per the reports, Charles became interested in Davina while she was romantically involved with another man named James Beard. The late businesswoman reportedly turned down the 77-year-old monarch’s dinner invitations initially before he eventually won her over.
During their romance, King Charles was often publicly photographed with Davina Morley, who was well-liked by the British Royal Family.
However, their romance hit a roadblock when Davina’s ex-boyfriend James Beard revealed that he was intimate with her and they had lived together.
At the time, royal convention dictated that Charles choose an "unblemished" bride, resulting in their breakup around 1976.
