Lewis Hamilton has denied reports that he asked Ferrari to replace his team members during Formula 1 race weekends, stating "I've never asked for anyone on my team to be replaced.”
On September 17, the Seven-time F1 champion had sought changes within Ferrari’s trackside operation amid frustration over the team’s strategy and execution.
Hamilton’s relationship with team principal Frédéric Vasseur had reportedly become strained.

The Ferrari driver praised the people working around him and underscored their commitment to the team.
“Everyone I work with works hard every day, and their dedication is what moves us forward.” Hamilton said.
He further clarified that "I always try to empower and lift people to be the best versions of themselves, or at least see the best in themselves. I may not always achieve that, but it's my intention and what I'm here to do. We all work together and that will continue."
Hamilton’s statement specifically denied requesting personnel changes but did not address the report about his relationship with Vasseur.
Notably, the statement follows Hamilton’s massive backlash of Ferrari’s communication and decision-making processes. He has also called for clearer rules following his opening-lap clash with teammate Charles Leclerc at Monza.
Hamilton’s championship hopes suffered another setback at the Spanish GP, where a brake-system failure forced him to retire after seven laps.
Currently, he sits third in the standings with 191 points, 101 behind leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
The F1 season continues with the Azerbaijan GP at Baku City Circuit from September 24-26.
