Salman Khan has earned major support after his violent reaction to the trolls.
The Dabangg star recently made headlines after the latest episode of his reality television show, Bigg Boss, where he slammed the body shamers.
As his reaction sparked buzz on social media, Khan got industry support, including Varun Dhawan, David Dhawan and Neha Dhupia.
The Student of the Year actor and his father have responded after the Kick actor came out in support of Varun on the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20.
Notably, the host spoke against online trolls who make fun of celebrities for how they look and also took on photographers who click actors from awkward angles.
The Bigg Boss 20 host used the episode to draw a line between genuine concern about a celebrity’s health and open mockery of their appearance, bringing his brother Sohail Khan and Varun into the argument as examples.
"Showing concern that bhai, you look unwell, you have lost weight, is different. But mocking Sohail and Varun over their looks? That is wrong," he added.

Varun shared a video of his father David Dhawan watching the moment play out, posting it with a clap emoji while the episode was still airing.
The timing lines up with the segment in which Salman removed his shirt on stage.
Neither Varun nor David has issued a longer statement, and the clip is doing the work on its own.
However, Kunal Kohli also shared a video of himself, backing Salman Khan. Sharing the video, he penned in the caption, "#salmankhan has just made the most relevant points on social media etiquette, behaviour, trolls and paps that you ever hear. We totally need to do our part as well."
Neha Dhupia also praised Salman and tweeted, "Tiger zinda hai …"
