Following a year of intense scrutiny over Jeffrey Epstein's ties, Sarah Ferguson is returning to the UK, with Queen Camilla finding herself in a tight spot.
The pair shared a strong bond spanning over decades; however, after the controversies surrounding Fergie and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Camilla distanced herself from the former Duchess of York, like the rest of the royals.

However, Closer has reported that the Queen might be having second thoughts about her decision as Sarah returns to the UK.
An insider claimed, "Don't forget there was a time that Camilla and Sarah were as close as sisters; they had a very genuine bond, so totally cutting her off has been really hard."
"It was bearable when Sarah was a thousand miles away, but she's practically down the road now, and Camilla is starting to feel like she ought to meet with her. Truth be told, Camilla feels quite badly about how things have ended up, and she’s beginning to show signs of wanting to waver on this hard stance she’s taken towards Sarah," the source added.

After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to England, it was reported that Sarah is also set to move into her new home.
As reported The Sun, her new residence is a six-bedroom property, which she is believed to be renting for £10,000 a month.
Meeting with Fergie dubbed 'disaster' by the Palace
While Camilla might see Sarah as one of her closest allies, Palace has warned the Queen that any meeting with the former royal will only end in "disaster".
"Everyone hit the roof when she floated that idea and warned her that letting Sarah back into her world in any way will only end in disaster and humiliation for her. The belief among pretty well everyone is that Sarah cannot be trusted and should be avoided at all costs," the insider noted.
They added, "If that [a meeting] happens, Sarah will be back on the list of problems The King has to contend with, it’s a nightmare, and everyone is urging him to put a lid on this before it happens."
According to the outlet, Camilla is not someone who would be following advice about her friendships, with a source noting, "There was a time that Camilla would have followed orders without question, but she's not that way anymore; she's become very headstrong. If she decides that she wants to give Sarah another chance, she will."
"Charles can make his feelings known, but Camilla is extremely strong-willed; if she decides she wants Sarah back in her life, he’s not going to have much luck telling her she can't."
