Prince William and Kate Middleton have joined Tom Cruise at the London premiere of his latest film, Digger.
On Tuesday, September 22, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the world premiere of Tom's upcoming movie at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square.

The pair were all smiles as they joined the red carpet, marking it their first since attending Tom Cruise's UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022.

Kate and William's outing came at a particular hectic period for the royal family, as the firm deals with backlash after Charles Spencer's new memoir about his sister, Princess Diana, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.
Moreover, eyes all also on the royal family as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle return to the UK with their children.
Tuesday’s premiere marked the 73rd Royal Film Performance, held in support of the UK's Film and TV Charity.
Earlier in the day, William visited ActOne, an independent, community-led cinema in Acton, west London, to recognise the community spirit of British filmmaking and independent UK cinemas.
During the outing, he met young filmmakers and creators from the local community as well as representatives from the Film and TV Charity to discuss their efforts in keeping local theatres operating and supporting independent creators.
Tom Cruise's close bond with the British royal family

He and his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, met the late Princess Diana at the 1992 premiere of their romantic drama Far and Away, and they later attended Diana’s funeral in 1997.
The actor also previously met the late Prince Philip in 2017 during a dinner marking the 75th Anniversary of The Outward Bound Trust at Buckingham Palace.
The Hollywood icon particularly shares a close bond with William, whom he invited to a private screening of Top Gun: Maverick ahead of the official premiere, after hearing the prince was a fan of the 1986 original.
