Prince William has issued a first message after being questioned about his uncle’s explosive new book.
The Prince of Wales stepped out today, Tuesday, September 22, in London to celebrate the power of film, storytelling and the screen industries across at ActOne Community cinema, marking his first public appearance since ongoing tensions between King Charles and Earl Spencer.
Following the outing, the future King took to Instagram to share about his visit in a heartwarming message.
He wrote, “Stopping by @actone_cinema, an independent community cinema bringing people together through film.”
“Hearing from representatives at the Film and TV charity about the importance of creating diverse routes into the creative industries. Great to see organisations working together to help the next generation develop skills, confidence and opportunities both on and off screen,” William added.
As per senior Royal correspondent Rebecca English, William served cinema snacks to members of the public who turned up to see a film today at ActOne cinema in London.
In one of the videos shared on Rebecca's Instagram page, the Prince could be seen behind the tills and apologising for being slow.
Prince William questioned about Charles Spencer’s new memoir
As Prince William made his way into ActOne Community Cinema, fans questioned him about his opinion about his uncle, Charles Spencer’s newly released memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, which is based on the Prince’s late mother, Princess Diana.
The reporters gathered outside further asked William if has already read the memoir, which also includes various shocking revelations about his father, King Charles III.
However, the father of three avoided the questions and quickly went inside the cinema.
