Tom Cruise has opened up about his reunion with the Prince and Princess of Wales, who joined him at the London premiere of Digger.
Willam and Kate attended Tuesday's central London screening alongside Sir David Beckham and Riz Ahmed.
A rejoiced reunion
It was not the first time the royal pair joined Cruise at a red carpet, as William and Kate attended the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022.
Discussing the star-studded occasion during his appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Tom described the royal couple as "amazing" and "charismatic", noting, "I had such a good time."

Tom Cruise shares close ties with the royal family, spanning over decades.
He and his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, met the late Princess Diana at the 1992 premiere of their romantic drama Far and Away, and they later attended Diana’s funeral in 1997.
The actor also previously met the late Prince Philip in 2017 during a dinner marking the 75th Anniversary of The Outward Bound Trust at Buckingham Palace.
Tom Cruise on his 'Digger' transformation
While talking about his new project, Cruise explained the extensive transformation he had to undergo using prosthetics for Digger.
"Let me make it clear – none of that is me," he said.
The actor added, "The make-up was taking so long that I decided to get it down from six hours to one – it was like a ballet getting everything in place. It was just like Formula 1. I had someone else hold the stopwatch."
The actor stars opposite Riz Ahmed, Sandra Huller and Jesse Plemons in the film, in which he plays an oil tycoon, who rushes to save the world after his company triggers disaster.
He continued, "My character is outrageous and unpredictable. He says things that others may be thinking and never say. It’s a timeless story about power, greed, and ego framed in a very timely manner by Alejandro G Inarritu – one of the greatest filmmakers of all time."
This will be Cruise's first film since the 2025 release of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning.
Digger is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2, 2026.
