Despite Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively's harassment, Colleen Hoover is all-in for the next chapter of It Ends with Us.
The 46-year-old American author has not let her confidence down after the high-profile legal drama between the two co-stars has overshadowed the 2024 movie.
Notably, the romantic-drama film was inspired by Colleen's best-selling novel starring Justin and Blake in the leading roles.
After they settled the lawsuit and ongoing tensions between the two, the author shows a positive side to the possible instalment of It Ends with Us.
"I mean, I don’t own the rights to the film sequel. So, if they decide to make another one, I’m all for it!" Colleen told Variety.
While promoting her new eerie movie, Verity, starring Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway in the leading roles, Colleen additionally clarified that she is proud of the movie and the team behind it despite the high price the stars have paid, due to the controversial harassment saga between Justin and Blake.

"I feel for everyone, you know? As the author, I was — and am — so proud of that movie. I think they did a great job," she added.
Colleen continued showering praise on Blake and Justin, who have been involved in a legal battle since December 2024, for their exceptional efforts to make the film a huge success.
"It's been a great experience, and I think the aftermath is going to be a great experience. I'm just really, really excited for this release in a way that I don't think I have been. I had a lot of nerves with the other ones, for a lot of different reasons, but this one is pure excitement," she broke her silence.
So far, there is no official confirmation whether the sequel will be released or not.
