Salman Khan is getting candid about his fitness journey after his viral shirtless moment on Bigg Boss 20, admitting that he is currently “unfit” and revealing that the moment was never about showing off his physique.
Last week, the Dabangg star surprised viewers by going shirtless on Bigg Boss 20 while addressing online body-shaming.
During the latest Weekend Ka Vaar, he revisited the viral moment and explained his reasons for doing so.
What Salman Khan says about his body
The Sultan actor quipped that he went shirtless before even getting back in shape.
Salman clarified that he wasn’t trying to flaunt a perfectly toned physique, but was still working on his fitness and had another one to two months to prepare for his upcoming film.
“I took my shirt off because I wanted to show that I don’t have a six-pack right now,” he said, adding that he was surprised fans liked his body.
“I don’t know why, but people liked how my body looked. But I don’t have it yet. I still have time, about one or two months. It’s a work in progress. It’s not like I got fit and then decided to show it. I showed it when I was unfit," said Salman.
On last week’s Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman called out Bigg Boss contestant Scout over his insensitive comments before addressing online trolls.
He removed his hat and jacket, challenging them to comment on his appearance and joking about claims that he had gained weight.
Salman also removed his shirt and showed off his current body, asking trolls to check out his physique and troll him. “ First look at yourself. Then comment on others. Look at your parents' health, your own health.”

Salman Khan has spoken publicly about living with several significant health conditions, including trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation (AVM), alongside chronic physical strain and injuries sustained during his action-packed film career.
